RFP 18/19-10 Technical and Communications Services for the Dowtown Congestion Pricing Study
The Transportation Authority requests proposals from qualified respondents (proposers) to provide technical and communications services for the Downtown Congestion Pricing Study Project. It is the intent of the Transportation Authority to contract with one or more consultant firms and/or teams of firms that will collectively provide the best overall service packages for the scope of work. Proposals must respond to the specific scope of services described in this Request for Proposals (RFP 18/19-10).
Pre-Proposal Conference on April 15 at 11:00 a.m. Although attendance at the pre-proposal conference is not mandatory, proposers and sub-consultants are encouraged to attend a pre-proposal conference to be held on April 15 at the Transportation Authority's offices, 1455 Market Street, 22nd Floor, Hearing Room. Attendees are requested to confirm attendance by completing the online registration form below by 5:00 p.m. the Friday before the conference (April1 2).
Questions due by April 16 at 5:00 p.m. Questions may be submitted by e-mail to firstname.lastname@example.org, please include “RFP 18/19-10 - Congestion Pricing Study” in the subject line. The Transportation Authority’s responses will be posted to this webpage by April 19, and any addenda to the RFP will be made available on this webpage prior to the proposal due date.
Proposals are due electronically to the Transportation Authority to email@example.com by May 7, 2019 at 11:00 a.m.

2019 DBE/LBE UPCOMING OPPORTUNITY OVERVIEW AND NETWORKING EVENT
The San Francisco County Transportation Authority (SFCTA)/Treasure Island Mobility Management Agency (TIMMA) and other local agencies held an informative presentation on March 13 to Disadvantaged and Local Business Enterprises (DBEs/LBEs) in their efforts to encourage participation and collaboration of small and large firms for upcoming procurements. The event highlighted specific upcoming opportunities including auditing, legal, communications, engineering, construction and more!

Business outreach committee - upcoming contracting opportunities
The Transportation Authority is a member of the Business Outreach Committee (BOC), a multi-agency consortium of approximately 23 Bay Area transportation agencies with a common goal to assist small, disadvantaged and local firms doing business with Bay Area transit and transportation agencies. The BOC meets on a monthly basis to discuss outreach practices and plan for regional networking events and buyers forums, and publishes a quarterly newsletter of upcoming agency procurements and events.
BUSINESS OUTREACH COMMITTEE 'MEET THE BUYERS' PROCUREMENT FORUM
On October 24, the Business Outreach Committee (BOC), a consortium of Bay Area transportation agencies including the Transportation Authority, is hosted a free 'meet the buyers' procurement forum at the San Francisco Municipal Transportation Agency's offices (1 South Van Ness Avenue in San Francisco). The event was a great opportunity for small, disadvantaged, minority & women-owned businesses to network with procurement staff from various participating transit and transportation agencies and government entities.
BUSINESS OUTREACH COMMITTEE 'MEET THE PRIMES' NETWORKING EVENT
On August 22, the Business Outreach Committee (BOC), a consortium of Bay Area transportation agencies including the Transportation Authority, hosted a free 'meet the primes' networking event at the Joseph P. Bort MetroCenter (101 8th Street in Oakland). The event was a great opportunity for small, disadvantaged, minority & women-owned businesses to network with prime construction and consultant contractors, Bay Area transit and transportation agency staff and resource partners.
